Shortage of staff in post office hampers work
2/17/2007 10:27:26 PM
DODA, FEB17-
The normal working in the Post Office Bhaderwah town has been adversely hit due to non availability of adequate staff.
According to reliable sources two posts of the Post Masters are sanctioned for the Post office, but till date only one Post Master is working and he is not in a position to serve the whole town individually. The understaffing of the post office often leads to verbal duals between the people and the staff especially the Post Master. The people of the area have said that they have to wait for hours together to get their job done and if one has to obtain a post card or an envelop he has to wait for long duration for his turn.
The local residents have voiced their demand for posting of additional staff along with the Post Master to cope up with the rush of work in the local post office.
