Kishtwar, Jan 1:- Two persons including a Dozer operator died in two separate incidents in Kishtwar District during last 24 hours. In first incident, 62 years old Habib Gujjar son of Dinna Gujjar resident of Kulna Palmar was roasted alive after a fire caused due to burning of furnace engulfed his house. All the other family members manage to escaped in time, but the victim did not manage to come out of the burning house as a result of which he was roasted alive. The area where the incident took place is without road connectivity.
In another incident 25 year old Dozer Operator identified as Raman Sharma son of Harbans Lal resident of Govindpura Himachal Pradesh died after a boulder hit his Dozer while he was working on under construction Kishtwar-Dachhan road. As per the eyewitnesses, the impact of the boulder was so tragic that the deceased along with his LNT machine fell several hundred feet into a deep gorge. After receiving the news about the incident, the contractor and the officials of the executing agency rushed to the spot and recovered the dead body of the deceased from the debris.
They shifted the dead body to District Hospital Kishtwar where after conducting the autopsy and legal formalities, the dead body was shifted to his native village for cremation.
