Some unidentified gunmen believed to be militants intercepted one Abdul Ahad Bhat, son of Wali Mohammed of Kulgam, near his residence and demanded Rupees two lakh from him. On refusal, the militants fired in air. However, he managed to escape unhurt with the help of his family members. Police has registered a case in this regard and started investigation
