| One killed, six injured in different accidents | | | Srinagar | Feb 17
One person has died and six others received injuries in different road accidents across the valley during last 24 hours.
According to reports, a passenger jeep bearing Regn no: JK09-2901 hit a scooter bearing Regn no: JK05-9820 at Hanjiweera in Baramulla. The scooterist identified as Sarwar Ahmed Bhat, son of Mohammed Ramzan Bhat of Gund Khawaja Qasim was seriously injured in the accident and shifted to hospital. However he succumbed to his injuries in the hospital. Police has registered a case in this regard and taken up investigations.
Meanwhile, in another incident, a passenger jeep bearing Regn no: JK03-9631 turned turtle at Nagbal resulting into injuries to six persons. All the injured were immediately hospitalized and their condition was stated to be out of control. Police has registered a case in this regard.
