| Fake encounters: SSP, Dy SP sent to judicial remand | | | Srinagar | February 17
Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Srinagar today sent former Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Hans Raj Parihar and his deputy on fourteen day judicial remand. The duo officers are among the main accused in fake encounter case of Carpenter Abdul Rehman
Reports reaching here revealed that the accused police officers were presented before the court of CJM Srinagar today by Special Investigation Team, probing the case of killing of Abdul Rehman Paddar who was allegedly killed in a fake encounter in Ganderbal area.
“The accused officers have been sent on judicial remand after their police remand expired today “Deputy Inspector General of Police Farooq Ahmed who is heading the Special Investigating Team added.
