| Police-Public meet held | | | Srinagar, February 18
IGP Kashmir Shri S.M.Sahai today chaired a Police-Public meet at DIG Office Baramulla in which general Public representatives from all the walks of life and various Tehsils participated.
Representatives from Baramulla, Pattan, Uri, Bandipora, Sopore, Tangmarg Sangrama, Rafiabad and other areas expressed themselves in the meeting.
The participants had a free and frank interaction with the IGP. The representatives brought forward many public problems being faced by the general public.
The IGP assured the public that police will provide all possible help to the general public in solving the problems that they are facing and will also act as an interface and bridge between them and the administration.
He assured the participants that special care will be taken to remove the difficulties being faced by people of far-flung and inaccessible areas of the district.
However, IGP also sought help from the opinion leaders in improving the present security scenario for normalisation of daily life.
