| Gojri translation of Holy Quran released | | All religions teach mutual co-existence: Mangat | | Jammu, February 18 Minister for Health and Medical Education Mr. Mangat Ram Sharma today said that the message of peace and co-existence as taught by holy Quran needs to be spread given the confronting situation all around the world. He said all religions teach mutual co-existence and religious education is more needed in the present time keeping in view the prevailing uncertainty, mistrust and violent situation created by the misguided youth. He said India has a composite culture, religions and faiths but only the common thing is that our religious books teach us the unity in diversity, brotherhood and above all to respect each other’s religious. Referring to release of Gojri translation of holy Quran, the Minister appreciated the sacred act of Mr. Mohammad Amin Madni for his great contribution in rendering yoeman’s service of translation of holy Quran. He said that till date this holy book has been translated in almost all the languages of the globe but much more needs to be done in propagating message of peace and mutual co-existence among various sections of the society, as revealed by Almighty through holy Quran for guidance of common man. He said that teachings of Islam are not specific for Muslims but for all the sects and societies of the world stressing for strict adherence of truth, honesty and service to humanity. The Minister was speaking at a release of Gojri translation of Holy Quran at Abhinav threatre Jammu at a function organized by the Jamiat-e-Ahli Hadis J&K. The translation work of the Holy Quran into Gojri done by Mr. Mohammad Amin Madni. Minister for CAPD Mr. Taj Mohi-ud-Din, Agriculture Minister Mr. Abdul Aziz Zargar, Minister of State for RDD Mr. Javid Mustfa Mir, MLA Mr. Abdul Gaffar Sofi, Mr. Ved Bhasin, Chairman Kashmir Times Group of Publications, Prof. Nirmal Singh of BJP, Prof. Zahoor-ud-Din, Mr. M. Y. Taing, S. Rangil Singh, Mr. Asgar Ali Mehdi, prominent Gujjar leaders, intellectuals and prominent citizens attended the function. |
