| Jammu, Jan 8 : NSS & RRC Unit of Govt Degree College, Bishnah organized a motivational lecture on the Voluntary Blood Donation by Dr Vijay Sawhney HOD Blood Bank, Govt Medical College Jammu in connection with the weeklong celebration of the National Youth Day. The said weeklong celebrations are held under the guidance of Prof Archana Bakshi, NSS Progr amme officer. Dr Suman Charak initiated the proceedings of the programme. Prof Kalpana Kesar, Principal of the college was the Chief Guest on the occasion. In the lecture Dr Sawhney counselled the students regarding voluntary blood donation and he stressed on the benefits of blood donation i.e. by donating blood we save the lives of patients, it reduces stress level and blood cholesterol. |
