| Charak inspects upgradation work on Jeevan Nagar-Muralian road | | | JAMMU | FEBRAARY 19
Minister for Roads and Buildings Mr. Gulchain Singh Charak today inspected upgradation work on 10.25 kms Jeevan Nagar-Murialian road and took stock construction work. The road which was started on 6th January 2007 is coming up at a cost of Rs 5.59 crore under NABARD funding.
Minister visited whole stretch of this road and was satisfied with the pace of work done during last one and a half-month. He directed the concerned construction agency to continue with the same zeal and dedication for its early completion. He said that availability of funds will not be impediment for such developmental projects.
The Minister directed Superintending Engineers and other concerned engineers to personally monitor the construction work of all the projects so that they would be completed in a stipulated timeframe.
He said that about 30,000 souls would get benefited by this road which he said has religious and social importance.
The Minister was accompanied by a team of engineers and other concerned officers.
