Zahoor conducts 3-days extensive tour of Pampore, releases Rs. 5 lakh out of CDF

Jammu, February 20
Member Legislative Assembly, Pampore Mir Zahoor Ahmed has said that government is determined to fulfill the aspirations of people adding that numerous steps have been taken to speed up development works in all over the state.
Mir Zahoor was on the tour of his Pampore Assembly constituency during which he met people and held interaction meetings at various places. During his 3-days tour he visited Khadermoh, Marwal, Nihama, Wukhoo, Kakapora, Lelihar, Hajibal, Banderpora, Goripora, Dangerpora, Wantapora, Barsoo and Letapora.
Mir Zahoor released Rs. 5 lakh out of his Constituency Development Fund for installation of new transformers in several villages of his constituency.
He said at present the execution and upgradation of various roads, bridges and other infrastructure is apace in Pampore constituency for the welfare of the people and asked the people to monitor the execution of development activities going on their areas and keep close vigil for ensuring quality material in developmental activities. He called upon them to give their full support to the government led by Chief Minister Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad for eradication of corruption in the state.
Mir Zahoor asked the local administration to come up to the expectations of the people by accelerating pace of on going works. He also advised the officers to organize awareness camps in all rural areas so that more and more people are educated about various welfare schemes launched by the state government for the welfare of the weaker sections of the society.
He also directed the concerned engineers and officers that keeping in view the current rabi and ensuing kharief cultivation in the area all the irrigation khuls be desilted and high yielding seeds, pesticides and fertilizers alongwith technical know how provided to the farmers.
