| Body found in Parimpora, seven injured in accidents | | | Srinagar | Feb 20 Police has recovered a body of a Bemina youth, under suspicious circumstances from Parimpora this afternoon. Meanwhile, seven persons have been injured in different traffic accidents across the Kashmir Valley during the last 24 hours. According to reports, body of one Firdous Ahmed Gassi alias Tulri, son of Abdul Ahad of Mansoor Colony, Bemina was found near the banks of River Jhelum at Parimpora in Srinagar. Police has taken cognizance and proceedings under section 174 CrPC have been initiated to ascertain the cause of death. Meanwhile, a mini bus bearing registration number JK05-1128 turned turtle on National Highway, near Haigam, under the jurisdiction of Police Station Sopore, resulting into injuries to three passengers, who have been hospitalized. In another incident, mini bus bearing registration number JK05-8702 met with an accident at Athoora in district Baramulla, resulting into injuries to Nazir Ahmad Ganie, son of Ibrahim of Athoora, who has been hospitalized. Mohammad Shafi Gazi, son of Abdul Rehman resident of Gazidoori Alamgari Bazar was injured in a road accident at Lalbazar Srinagar, Abdul Aziz Rather, son of Gaffar resident of Gugloosa met with an accident at Batergam, Kupwara, Mohammed Yousuf Rather, son of Mohammed Abdullah of Kralapora was hit and injured by a rashly driven car bearing Regt No: JK01K/1415, at Humhama Crossing. All the injured has been shifted to hospital and Police has initiated the proceedings in all cases.
