New Delhi, Aug 2 : Two Delhi Police personnel, including a
Sub-Inspector and a Constable, were involved in rape/molestation cases in the last one and a half years, and 36 others have been booked for corruption.
The constable was dismissed for his alleged involvement in rape/molestation in 2005 while a sub inspector was charged with the same crime this year and dismissed from service, according to official sources.
Twenty-three personnel charged with corruption last year include
10 sub inspectors, four assistant sub inspectors, three head
constables and six constables.
Till June 30, 13 Delhi Policemen -- one inspector, two sub
inspectors, five assistant sub inspectors, two head constables and
three constables were booked under corruption charges, the sources
