| Militants attack near PCC President’s residence | | One worker killed, two others injured | | JAMMU, FEB 21
Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee has strongly condemned the militant attack near the residence of PCC President Peerzada Mohammed Sayeed at Damhal in Anantnag district in which one of his close worker was killed and three others including two Congress workers suffered serious injuries.
A party handout said that the militants struck at the residence of the PCC Chief this evening and shot dead his closer follower Mohammed Ramzan Mir and seriously injured three others. The injured included Bashir Ahmed Wani and Mohammed Abdullah Wani of village Damhal and have been shifted to hospital.
Senior leaders and the entire rank and file of the party have strongly condemned the attack and expressed grief and shock over the death of Ramzan Mir and expressed sympathies with the bereaved family and also prayed for early recovered of the injured.
