‘Kis ka hath’ staged in drama festival

Triple ‘A’ Theatre Group, Reasi today staged Hindi play ‘Kis Ka Hath’ at the District Drama Festival 2006-07 organized by J&K Academy of Art, Culture and languages at community Hall Jyotipuram.
The play ‘Kis Ka Hath’ is a three act play in which Amrit Roy, the central character is a businessman and the whole story revolves around the mystery of the murders of Madhurta, loving daughter of Amrit Roy and Ranjan his son, Ranjan is Amrit Roy’s son from his first wife and Madhurta is from second wife Shamli.
Madhurta has a love affair with inspector Ravi Kant, who plays a leading role to reveal the mystery of the murder. A thief by the name of Durjan comes to Amrit Roy and eyes of suspicion falls on Budhu, because at that time Budhu was present in the room. Madhurta is also murdered in second act and detective pintu is employed by Amrit Roy to find the person behind the murder. Shamli asks Budhu to through away the hand (Health) but he is caught red handed by inspector Ravi but in the end Shamli shocks the audience by revealing the fact that she is behind the murder. The reason behind it is that Shamli had a lone affair with Amrit Roy’s brother, but she was deserted by him. She wanted to revenge herself upon Roy family and so that is why she had married Amrit Roy.
Principal K.V. Jyotipuram was the chief Guest on the occasion. The play is written by Satish Dey and directed by Mohd. Akram Khan, The artists who took part in the play included Neeraj Kesar as Amrit Ray, Neha Sharma as Shamily, Manju Devi as Madhurta, Sahil Abrol as Budhu Nath, Rakesh Kumar as Durjan and Chetu, Vijay Rajput as Inspector Ravi Kant, Shadab Khan as Ranjan and Pintu, Mak-up by Raja Aamir Khan, production managed by Madam Parveen Akhtar.
Dr, Sudhir Mahajan is the in-charge of the festival.
