| Congress minority cell holds meeting | | | JAMMU | FEB21 District Congress minority cell, Ravinder Singh Lal held a general body meeting at Udhampur which was attended by Chairman JKPCC Minority Department and MLC, S Arvinder Singh Micky. While speaking on the occasion, Arvinder Singh highlighted the functions and objectives for constituting the Minority cell by late Indira Gandhi. “In J&K after the gap of three decades, Congress party is in power and is working on the same ideology under the leadership of chief minister Gulam Nabi Azad” he said and added that the step taken by CM Azad under the New Roshini Act was historic. He also appealed to the people of different communities to get united against the communal forces, who are bent upon dividing the people of the country. Vote of thanks was given by President District Congress Committee Udhampur, Brij Mohan Sharma. Prominent among others, who were present on the occasion included President District Youth Congress, Shashi Manhas, vice president District Youth Congress, Neeraj Thapa, President District Gurudwara Board S Amar Singh, Abdul Hameed, Taro Devi and others.
