| Mendhar battalion organizes Fauji Mela | | | JAMMU | FEB 21
With an objective to reach out to the population living in the far flung areas of Mendhar Tehsil, Mendhar Battalion organised a Fauji Mela here today.
The “mela” was organised with great pomp and show under the aegis of BG Brigade and inaugurated by Brigadier I S Singha, Commander BG Brigade.
During the daylong mela, various armaments including Guns and Tanks were put on display by the army.
On the occasion, stall of ex-servicemen contributory health scheme and ex-servicemen counter were set up for imparting information and assistance to the ex-servicemen. Helpline cards of important appointments of Bhimber Gali Brigade were also distributed to the ex-servicemen.
