| Rehman slams Cong, BJP for trying to topple Mulayam Govt | | | JAMMU | FEB 20
Samajwadi Party State President Sheikh Abdul Rehman, has strongly condemned the stand of BJP and Congress towards Mulayam Singh led Uttar Pradesh government and described it as agenda of both families to topple the Samajwadi party government in Uttar Pradesh.
In a press release issued, Rehman alleged that it has been the history of the Congess to destabilize the opposition led governments in the states by misusing article 356 of Indian Constitution.
He further alleged that it is shocking that Congress first extended outside support to Mulyam Singh and is now leaving no stone unturned in destabilizing it under a deep rooted conspiracy hatched with BJP.
He cautioned that if congress did not desist from its old tradition of misusing Article 356 of Indian constitution the Samaj Wadi party shall be constrained to bring amendment in the Act with the help of other likeminded parties.
