in connection with the Kashori Shakti Yojana ICDS Project Jammu (Urban) organised a six days Orientation Training Programme for adolescent girls at Patta Bohri, Talab Tillo.
The camp was organised by Renu Sareen, Child Development project Officer Jammu. The main purpose of the camp is to engage adolescent school drop-out in different curricular activities. Around thirty adolescent girls were educated on various aspects elated to the safe motherhood, health carte problems of early marriages, AIDS awareness Jaundice, Malaria, Hepatitis, Child care and evils of Dowry system.
Anil Sharma, Programme Officer ICDS Projects, Jammu, Ambica Sachdeva, M.O. ICDS, Jammu, Meenakshi, M.O. and people from Health and Social Welfare Dept were available as resource persons in the six days camp.
