| Congress workers protest against GREF | | |  Early Times Report
Udhampur, Feb 18: Demanding repair of 500 meter road stretch from Domail to Slathia Chowk, Congress workers on Monday took out a protest rally on bikes against GREF department.
According to a press release, the rally was organized under the leadership of Sumeet Magotra, who while addressing said that the repair work has been delayed for the last 3 years.
Angry crowd raised slogans against the GREF department and Dhar road was blocked for few minutes.
Police immediately rushed to the situation and tried to clear the traffic jam.
The senior officer on duty assured the protesters that their demand would be taken with concerned authorities. |
