| 55 officials placed under suspension in Shopian | | |

SRINAGAR, Feb 18: Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Dr. Asgar Hassan Samoon reviewed the situation in Kashmir Valley with all Deputy Commissioners and Heads of departments with regard to availability of essential commodities and services provided to the public. It was impressed upon them to ensure 100 percent attendance in all Government offices and to speedup developmental works in view of closing financial year and to initiate disciplinary action against absentees as per Service Rules. Attendance in different offices was recorded 90-100 percent except parts of Kulgam and Shopian where 55 Government employees found absent were placed under suspension by concerned Deputy Commissioner and disciplinary action recommended against 11 others. |
