Jammu Kashmir Democratic Front withdraws today’s Bandh Call

Jammu, Feb 18: Jammu Kashmir Democratic Front (JKDF) has decided to withdraw the Jammu Bandh Call after administration has agreed to permit holding of "Duggar Chetna Rally" on February 19th on some specified route.
According to spokesperson of the front during a meeting between the representatives of JKDF and district administration represented by Deputy Commissioner Jammu, SSP Traffic and SSP (Officiating) Jammu, the two sides agreed upon that rally shall be allowed with some alternations in the route map.
Consequently JKDF withdraws the Bandh Call and further has express gratitude to all those who supported the cause of commemorating and saluting the sacrifices of the great heroes and sons of soil.
JKDF appeals to all people to participate in the Duggar Chetna Rally on February 19th, on eve of Duggar Shaurya Diwas in large numbers to make it successful.
President JKDF Anil Gupta was accompanied with senior leader namely Murari Lal, Ramkumar, Surender Sharma and Suresh Sharma, Jagdish Sapolia (MLA Basohli) and Bharat Bhushan (MLA Domana) and others.
