| Kundan lambasts Govt, demands action against land grabbers of shrine | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Feb 18: Kundan Kashmiri KPC Chief and President of AKPWS, today lambasted J&K state government for not taking action against land grabbers of Shri Jwala Ji Shrine located at Village Khrew, Pulwama, Kashmir. According to press release issued here, Kundan said government is taking action against those who have illegally occupied the land of the shrine despite of disowning the attorneys through public notice on behalf of trustee of Dharma trust Dr. Karan Singh. He said' "Land grabbers of said Shrines continue their illegal activity by disposing of the shrine land after carving out plots for sale. They are also making all efforts to encroach the land of Sumshan Bhumi and Shishoo Samadhi for their benefits and carrying out illegal activities in odd hour for digging and taking away clay from the sacred areas of the shrine for selling purpose." KPC chief in his memorandum to Home Minister of India, governor and chief minister of J&K state appealed them that all arrangements need to be made to protect and evict the entire land of Jawala Ji Shrines from land grabbers and others which is more than one thousand canals including sixty seven canals of agriculture and saffron land at village Khrew, Pulwama, Kashmir and the same land to be restored to the samiti of the shrine at the earliest. |
