| BJP ousted MLAs castigate Jammu based legislators | | |

Jammu, Feb 18: Seven ousted MLAs of Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) have described it as unfortunate situation that even the opposition members from Jammu area have failed to field consensus candidates although they could get one independent voice of Jammu in the upper house.
According to press release issued by the seven member group headed by Prof. Chaman Lal Gupta, it has been stated that all out efforts were to persuade the members of Jammu area belonging to different groups to field a common candidate but the evasive attitude of some members did not yield any result.
In the situation it clearly shows that it would help only the ruling coalition partners and the valley based opposition. |
