| Under privileged families living without power supply since Feb 3 | | |

Kathua, Feb 18 : Large number of under privileged and forgotten families residing in village Jagatpur, Lakhanpur Kathua have been forced to live without electricity for the last more than fifteen days courtesy technical snag in the main power supply feeder.
Our correspondent reported from Kathua a deputation of underprivileged mainly belonging to SC caste called on Additional Deputy Commissioner Kathua and demanded early restoration of power supply to their locality.
Kumar Chand and Ravi Kumar alleged that the transformer is still out of order since 3 February but PDD department has not paid its heed towards the poor plight of people of the above mentioned locality and further alleged despite repeated requests the concerned department PDD has failed to redress their issue. After hearing the deputation AD Kathua assured them the matter would be taken on priority for solution to the concerned authority |
