| CM visits PCR Complex, inspects modern facilities, hospital | | | Srinagar|Feb 23 Jammu & Kashmir Chief Minister Mr. Gh. Nabi Azad today visited the Police Control Room and Police Hospital. He was accompanied by among others Director General of Police Mr. Gopal Sharma, Inspector General of Police Mr. S. M. Sahai Dy Inspector General of Police Farooq Ahmed Sr. Superintendent of Police PCR Srinagar Shovkat Malik and SSP Srinagar S .A Mujtaba.
Chief Minister inspected the latest gadgets installed at the PCR recently and in his address hoped that with the help of these modern facilities the needy people will get immediate help and assistance as there is now some precious time available for the response. The chief Minister in his address exhorted upon the police officers and officials of the law and order enforcing agency to provide quick and suitable succour to the public in general and the needy and suffering in particular.
The Director General of the Police Mr. Gopal Sharma briefed the Chief minister about the latest and the existing facilities of the PCR .He told the visiting dignitary that the PCR Srinagar has emerged as one the most modern PCRs of the country and the hi-tech facilities have been installed in a record time of one year.
The Chief Minister Mr. Azad also visited the Police hospital in the PCR complex and interacted with the family members of the police men admitted in the hospital and the police official injured in a grenade attack. He also visited the modern operation theatre and physiotherapy centre established in the hospital. He gave necessary directions to the doctors and Para medical staff regarding the welfare of the patients.
