The Department of Posts, Jammu and Kashmir Postal Circle, has invited applications in the prescribed format from the eligible candidates for filling up 26 vacancies of Postal and Sorting Assistants.
Prospectus containing eligibility conditions such as age, qualification, procedure, prescribed application form and other details can be obtained from General Post Office, Srinagar, Head Post office Jammu, post offices at Baramulla, Kupwara, Bagdam, Anantnag, Bandipora and Pulwama in Kashmir, Rajouri, Poonch, Kathua, Nowshera, Doda Jammu and Sunderbani in Jammu region head post office Leh and sub post office Kargil on payment of Rs.25 by cash.
Applications duly completed, along with the attested copies of the certificates, should be submitted to the officer concerned on or before 30th March 2007 by Registered or Speed Post only.
The Departments has clarified that applications sent by other means shall not be considered and those received after the due date would be rejected.
