| Youth succumbs to injuries, two arrested | | Youth’s body recovered at Samba | | Jammu | Feb 23
A B.A Part-I student, who was admitted in Government Medical College (GMC) owing to assault during a marriage function yesterday, succumbed to his injuries this morning. According to reports, Arjun Saini alias Goldi 19, son of Mela Ram of Kul Khurd, Arnia received serious injuries in a clash during a marriage party on February 7. He was shifted to hospital and this morning he succumbed to his injuries due to severe head injury.
After his death police registered a case in this regard and arrested two person namely Parshottam Lal son of Kartar Chand of Bari Brahmna and Mukesh Kumar son of Mohan Lal resident of Barjani. Meanwhile, a youth’s body was recovered in the Samba under mysterious circumstances. According to reports, local people spotted a dead body near village Diani in Samba and immediately informed to police about the matter. Police team rushed to the spot and shifted the body to hospital for postmortem. The deceased has been identified as 25 yrs old Vijay Kumar, son of Nathu Ram of Diani, Samba. According to sources, some injury marks were observed on the body. Meanwhile, Police has registered a case in this regard and investigating the matter.
