| Young library professionals constitute body | | | Jammu | Feb 23
Young library science professionals constituted “Association of Young Library and Information Science Professionals” (AYLISP) in a meeting which held in University of Jammu (JU) this morning. The association will work for the redressal of library science professionals. Malvinder Kaur has been unanimously elected as the maiden President of the association.
Speaking on the occasion, Malvinder assured library professionals to work for the upliftment of the profession. She further said that library professionals have been sidelined and given rough deal in all spheres of academic affairs and the association will ensure that library professionals would not suffer any more. The other office bearers of the association were Rohit Gupta, Vice President, Jatinder Sawhney, Secretary, Renu Thakur, Romesh, Vishal, Ravi, Joint Secretaries and Shiv Saran as Treasurer.
