High Court Driver Man-handled and beaten by the Police
Association threatened they will go on strike if not taken action against culprit

Jammu, August, 02 : The High Court Staff Welfare Association Jammu has threatened to go on strike if action against the police personals, who had manhandled and beaten High Court driver Surjeet Singh yesterday evening, while he was going to his house. According to the General Secretary Mr. Joginder Singh, High Court Staff Welfare Association that he has given in writing to the Judicial Registrar about the occurrence in which the police injured driver and prayed for immediate action against the culprit. According to him if the action will not taken immediately, the members of the association will go on strike. Upon this the Registrar Judicial discusses the matter with the SSP Jammu about the occurrence. It is worthwhile to mention here Registrar Rules Mr. Jang Bahadur Singh Jamwal of State High Court has initiated enquiry into the matter.
