| Madan Lal conducts comprehensive tour of Jammu | | |  ET Plus Report
Jammu, Mar 3: Member Parliament Jammu Poonch Constituency Madan Lal Sharma Sunday conducted a comprehensive tour of Jammu and participated in Guru Ravi Dass Jee Jayanti celebratations at Rajpura Shakti Nagar here.
He asked the people to follow the path shown by Guru Ravi Dass Jee which leads towards truth and prosperity. A large number of devotees were present on the occasion. Sharma said that Government of India has several schemes for the development of Scheduled Castes and asked the people to take benefit of all such schemes.
He informed the people that special scholarships are given to the children of unprivileged family and termed education as key to prosperity. Prominent among others present on the occasion included Kuldeep Raj Verma, Vice Chairman OBC, Manmohan Singh, ex corporator, Vikram Malhotra, Mangal Dass, Zorawar Singh, Dev Raj, Kewal Krishan, Vijay Kumar, Dr Naseema Choudhary, Romesh Kumar and Bachan Lal.
Sharma also inaugurated a physiotherapy centre constructed in the memory of Sant Shri Gurvakash Singh Jee Danna at Nanak Nagar here. He asked that at present physiotherapy can play a vital role in treating the people suffering from various ailments. |
