Working group on economic development headed by Dr. C. Rangarajan met here today to deliberate upon various issues pertaining to balanced development of Jammu and Kashmir including employment generation.
The group would finalize its recommendations and submit the same to Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh, who announced five working groups at the conclusion of Srinagar Roundtable Conference to address all issues pertaining to Jammu and Kashmir.
Among others Minister for Power, Mr Nawang Rigzin Jora, Minister for R&B Mr. Gulchain Singh Charak, Former Deputy Chief Minister, Mr Muzzafar Hussain Beig, Former Minister Mohammad Sharief Niaz, Legislators, Mr. Balwant Singh and Th. Puran Singh, CPI leader Ghulam Mohammad Sheikh, BJP leader Dr. Nirmal Singh, Former MLC Mr. Nizam-ud-din Khatana and CPIM leader, Mr. Sham Parsad Kesar were present in the meeting.
