JAMMU, Mar 3: A meeting of the Kashmir Administrative Service (KAS) Officers was held today at the Excise Taxation complex under the chairmanship of Kifayat Hussain Rizvi KAS, Commissioner Commercial Taxes. During the meeting various issues to invigorate the KAS Association were discussed. It was unanimously agreed to form an adhoc body of the Association to facilitate the conduct of the elections for a regular body. The following were unanimously nominated office bearers and counsellors for the adhoc body.
They are M. H. Malik, President, Arvind Kotwal, Vice President, Dr. G. N. Itoo, General Secretary, Dr. R. S. Sharma, Treasurer, Syed Murid Hussain, Publicity Secretary besides Ms. Anuradha Gupta, G. M. Dar, Ramesh Chander, Suraj Prakesh Rakwal, Moses Kunzang, Pradeep Kumar, T. K. Bhat, Khurshid Ahmad Shah, Dr. B. A. Lone, R. A. Inqualabi as counsellors.
Besides the formation of the adhoc body, it was unanimously decided to hold the elections of the Association on the 15th of April, 2013 for which election notification shall be issued separately. |
