| DPS organizes annual sports meet | | |
JAMMU | Feb 24
Delhi Public School, Jammu organized the annual Athletic meet in the school premises here today in which students from the pre-primary and primary wings participated in the different events including 100mtrs, 200mtrs and 400mtrs racing tracks. Long jump, Shot-put, 400mtrs relay races, three lagged race, spoon race, shuttle run and roll ball were the other major events in the annual meet.
Yoga asana, Kid drills and colorful cultural items performed by the students of fifth and sixth classes were the attractive features of the meet.
Earlier, D. Joseph, Principal of the school declared the meet open followed by the oath taking ceremony. She also distributed the prizes among the meritorious athletes.
She appreciated the outstanding performance of the students.
