Srinagar, August 02- In the ‘Kashmir Open Squash Championship-2006’, which is in progress at Amar Singh club’s Squash Court, the junior sections Supinderdeep will clash with Ali Bakshi in Ist semi final while Aziz Ahmed will clash with Varinder Singh in second semi-final.
Meanwhile, in senior section Arshad Khan, Sheikh Gowhar, Nazir, Pardeep, Amin, Harmeet Singh, Mudasir Ahmed and Upender Paul have qualified for the quarter final matches. The semi-finals are being played on August 3, 2006 at 8 a.m, while finals will be played on the same day at 5 p.m.
The championship is being organized by the JK Squash Rackets Association and is sponsored by JK State Sports Council with the assistance of CRPF.
The championship was inaugurated by IGP, CRPF at Amar Singh Club yesterday. |
