| Children from Valley interact with senior Army Official at Udhampur | | | UDHAMPUR, FEB-25
The children from the valley interacted with Major General Nehra, Major General ASC, Headquarters Northern Command at Udhampur on their return from an educational tour which include Jammu, Delhi, Ambala, Agra and Amritsar. These Education tours was the part of activities initiated under Operation Sadbhavna was organized to expose children of the Valley to culture, diversity and development in other parts of the country particularly aimed to encourage the children to get a first hand experience of the tremendous career options available and motivate them to compete at the national level thereby amalgamate with the national mainstream.
During their interaction with the General, the Children conveyed their myriad experience during the visit. The General commented on the fast improving peace environment in the state and exhorted upon the children to use their experience in helping the State reach levels of economic progress achieved in some of the states visited. He also wished them the very best for their life ahead. |
