JAMMU | FEB 25 “Natrangs’ Children’s Weekend Club” presented a new play ‘Phalon Ki Chaupal’ at Natrang Studio Theatre. Deepak Virdhi, who was assisted by Mohit Sharma, directed the play was written by Akhilash Shrivastava vegetables for human life. It educates the ingredients of each fruit and vegetable, which the general public is not aware of. In a dramatic way young children who played the parts of different fruits and vegetables like Mango, Banana, Orange, Apple, Guava, Reddish, Carrot are put to as situation where they are required to demonstrate their utility as most important component of food. Children who generally avoid taking fruits and vegetables, after watching this performance will certainly run after fruits and vegetables. The children who participated in the play included ; Sanchit Singh Wazir as Aam, Amish Rohmetra as Kela, Sahitya Sharma as Angoor, Prachika Kanotra as Gaajjar, PankulArora as Amrod, Rishab Gupta as Seb-I, Ankul Arora as Seb-II, Akshaj Rohmetra, as Santra and Arushi Gupta as Muli, The music of the play was scored by Saurav Kapoor, whereas Rhythm by Pankush Verma. Lights were designed and executed by Mohit Sharma and lyrics by Rohit Verma, Rohit and Mohit designed set of the play. Ankush, Rahul, Kamaljeet Kaur, Sahil, Atul, mayank, Parveen and Gaurav looked after stage management. White concluding the performance, Natrang director, Balwant Thakur informed that next batch of Children’s Club will start on 15th of March 2007 and he made an open invitation to the parents to comer with their children to Natrang for registration in the forthcoming batch.
