| Vana Mahotsav celebrated with fervor | | |

Vana Mahotsav was celebrated in Govt. High School Satwari today with great fervor and enthusiasm. The function was presided over by head mistress Kamala Devi who planted shady trees and flowering plants with the help of dedicated Tr. Narinder Singh Chib along with other staff members and also scout/Guides wind of the school.
Prominent persons of the area also attended the function. Every body appreciated and encouraged the headmistress and staff of the school. Later Kamal Devi elaborated the importance of the plants to the students and also added that how trees are useful in various in various aspects of life. She also stressed to every students to plant at least are plant in their locality.
