| BSP Condemns PHE for supplying contaminated water | | |

BSP has alleged that PHE Deptt. is spreading water born diseases instead of preventing by supplying polluted water to the people of J&K.
Satpal, BSP, Coordinator, Condemns the working of P.H.E Deptt. in J&K state. And said that many people it have still not been provided water for drinking. The leakages in the pipes are in large numbers and concerned authorities of the Deptt. have for gotten their responsibilities i.e. to supply safe water to the people. Instead of making the people disease free they are making them disease ridden because of failure of supervision from top to bottom. Sat Paul had been told regarding supply of polluted water in a meeting of the party at village Polouta on 24-02-2007 in the evening and the people over there told that they are being supplied polluted water which has caused many diseases in these areas.
Sat Paul warned the concerned authorities at the helm of affairs to be responsible in their job and supply safe water to the people and stop all leakages of the water pipes through out the state.
