POONCH FEB 26 The district unit of Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party has threatened to launch agitation, if the Mobile service in the district was not made functional within 24 hours. The party activists in a meeting held here today alleged that the mobile phone service in the district was non functional for quite few days due to the callous attitude of the BSNL authorities. ‘The BSNL staff was hand in glove with some of the STD owners and were receiving monthly commission from them and were hardly bothered about the mobile consumers’, the meeting alleged. ‘It was a deliberate attempt to keep the mobile net work off to benefit the STD owners’, the party observed and warned if the facility was not restored within next 24 hours, they would launch a stir.. Besides, J B Singh District Youth President, the meeting was attended by Daljeet Singh, Jasbir Sing, Umar Usman , Amar Singh, Zeeshan Kazmi, Kuldeep Raj, Pushkar Raj, Ibrar Rather, Tanvir Malik, Kamran Mushtaq, Naveed Ahmed, Simranjeet Singh, Azar Usman and Mohammed Usman.
