| JP World reaches finals of Winter cup | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Feb 26 J.P. World Cricket club dominated Chetna Cricket Club in the Ist Semifinal of Winter Cup being played at GGM Science College. Winning the toss, JP World batting first made a score of 151 runs loosing all wickets in the allotted 80 overs match. Ajit Paul Singh was the top scorer with 43 runs in 29 balls including two fours and two sixes. Parvez scored 24 runs. Parveen contributed 23 runs in team’s total. Chetna Cricket club bowler gave 8 extras runs. For Chetna Cricket Club, Sonu, Anil and Manjeet grabbed two wickets each while Ashwani took one wicket. While chasing, Chetna Cricket Club was bundled out for 121 runs in 27.3 overs. Ashwani scored 29 runs hitting four boundaries while Anil and Manjeet Singh made 26 and 22 runs. JP world bowlers gave 12 extras. From J.P. world, Manik was the most successful bowler with 3 wickets, while Inderjeet, Raman and Vijay took two wickets each. Ajit Paul Singh was adjudged as the man of the match.
