Samba, Mar 22: Two minor sons of a CRPF constable today reportedly drowned in a village pond in village Smailpur, Samba when they were taking bath, sources said. "The deceased have been identified namely as Bittu Kumar (5) and Sushil Kumar (7), both sons of one Sikandar Pandit, Head Constable 38 Bn CRPF, sources said. Sources said that when Bittu the younger sibling slipped into deeper side of the pond and cried for help his elder brother Sushil Kumar in a bid to rescue him jumped into the water and bother were drowned. They added that some passersby jumped to rescue them and brought the duo out in serious condition. The duo was immediately taken to the Kristu Hospital,Samba from where they were referred to the GMC Hospital Jammu where doctors declared them as brought dead, sources added.
