Jammu, Mar 22: Induscos Jammu on Friday organized an awareness camp for handicrafts artisans/members of Cooperative societies of district Jammu, at Old Basti, Bagh-e-Bhau.
According to press release, the camp was organized by (Handicrafts) Induscos, Jammu with the collaboration of industrial Cooperative Societies of District Jammu viz-a-viz The Chirag Soft Toys Handicrafts Industrial Cooperative Ltd, Nath Colony Peer Baba, Jammu.
Around 235 participants from the surrounding areas attended the camp. The speakers highlighted the schemes of Handicrafts department and other departments which were launched by the J & K State Handicrafts and Central government.
They told that Handicraft sector is playing vital role and is back bone in economy of State by generating employment opportunity for the un-employee youths / down trodden section of the society of J & K State for both male and female. |
