| Pedestrian crushed under speeding tipper | | |
Srinagar | Feb 26:
A pedestrian was crushed under a speeding tipper at Chooru while three others received injuries in different road mishaps across Kashmir valley during the last 24 hours. According to reports, a tipper bearing registration number JKU-7287 hit a pedestrian Abdul Rashid Ganie, son of Mohd Ramzan of Authoora at Chooru under the jurisdiction of Police Station Sopore, resulting the on spot death of the pedestrian. Police has registered a case in this regard.
In another mishap a vehicle bearing registration number HP-51B-0213 turned turtle near Gantamulla under the jurisdiction of Police Station Sheeri resulting into injuries to the driver and conductor of the said vehicle. The injured were immediately hospitalized by the police. Meanwhile, Mudasir Ahmad Qureshi son of Ghulam Rasool of Manchan Beerwah fell down from a truck bearing registration number 9098-JK04 near Renkipora under the jurisdiction of Police Station Beerwah and got injured who has been hospitalized. Police has registered a case in this regard.
