Based on specific information, troops of Romeo Force recovered a cache in general area Phagwari, Poonch last evening. The recovered cache comprises of three Radio Sets, three Anti personal mines, two Remote Control (IED) and warlike stores, said a PIB (Defence Wing) release.
In another incident, Lance Naik Jholimav accidentally stepped on Anti personal mine while carrying out maintenance of mine drain in Bump III, North East of Poonch in which his foot below right ankle blown off. Amputation was carried out at Army Medical Unit.
