| Rehman demands airlifting of stranded passengers | | |

Expressing his concern over the plight of Kashmir bound passengers at General Bus Stand here, President State Unit of Samajwadi Party has demanded their airlifting to the Valley.
In a statement, he said that he called on the Divisional Commissioner Jammu here today and apprised him of the plight of the stranded passengers who have been held up due to the closure of Jammu-Srinagar National Highway, and demanded provisions of alternative arrangements for shifting them to respective destinations by air free of charges besides providing free food and other items to the stranded passengers.
He, along with party’s General Secretary Incharge Kashmir affairs also visited the bus stand and interacted with the stranded passengers.
