| Congress Seva Dal hails Roshni Act | | | BHADARWAH | Feb 26
In a meeting chaired by the Chairman B S Sambyal, the Congress Seva Dal district unit, has hailed the Roshni Act and ‘described it a historical piece of legislation’.
The speakers at the meeting said that the amended Act enacted by the Azad led government in the State ‘is a God gift to the people of Jammu and Kashmir’.
The meeting also expressed its satisfaction over the execution of development works in the district and in this connection referred to the construction of Bridges on Neru Nallah and Chenab River. The credit for this goes to the Chief Minister Azad, who has vowed for equitable and rational development of all the regions of the state particularly the hitherto neglected pockets of the state, the meeting said..
Among others who spoke on the occasion included Retd Capt Krishan Chand Kotwal District General Secretary, Master Ghansham Singh Sarparast, Ravinder Thakur Block President, Tek Chand Vice President, Shaukat Ali Mir, Amir Iqbal Khan and Ghulam Hassan Dar.
