Hunt on for selection of fast bowlers from J&K

KAWA Institute, in collaboration with Roshni Cricket Academy (RCA), is organizing a first ever hunt for the fastest bowler in J&K under the patronage of former Indian Cricket tall rounder Kapil Dev.
Briefing to the media persons here today, Managing Director RCA Jammu, Rajinder Arora said the competition would be held for under 15-19 and open categories including both male and female candidates. The main objective of conducting the mega event is to identify the potential of fast bowlers from J&K who can represent at the national and international levels, he added. He also said that about 4000 aspiring cricketers from the State are expected to take part in this event.
The aspiring cricketers of the district have been asked to fill in the requisite forms available at City Lark Readymade Garment Shop near Bus Stand Doda. Every participant has to pay a participation fee of Rs 500 in cash or demand draft in favour of KAWA & RCA. There is a special concession for students below 19 categories, who have to pay only 300 as a participation fee.
