| Weathers forecasters' workshop held | | | Jammu, 26 February 2007
A forecasters’ workshop was conducted at Air Force Station Jammu under the aegis of Western air Command. Warrant ranks and Sergeants from various Air Force Stations in Western Command participated in this workshop. The forecasters’ workshop was inaugurated by Group Captain JS Kler, VM Station Commander, Air Force Station Jammu during the 2nd week of February 2007, said a PIB (Defence Wing) release.
During the valedictory function Wing Commander JS Hora, Chief Operations Officer, Air Force Station, Jammu congratulated all the participants on the successful completion of the course. He also mentioned that these warrant officers are performing the duties of forecasters at flying units and this workshop will enable them to issue better and accurate forecasts. |
