Jammu and Kashmir Governor Lt Gen. (Retd) S.K Sinha has prorogued J&K Legislative Assembly.
A bulletin issued by Raj Bhawan to this effect states “ In exercise of the powers vested in me under Section 53 of the Constitution of Jammu and Kashmir,I, Lt Gen (Retd) S.K. Sinha, PVSM, Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, hereby prorogue the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly.”
