R.S. Chib felicitated
Given rousing reception at different places

A felicitation meeting was organized at village Satrayan, R.S. Pura by the resident of Panchayat Halqa, Sattowali, R.S.Pura.
In a largely attended meeting, residents of the area expressed the gratitude of Sonia Gandhi and Ghulam Nabi Azad for nominating R.S.Chib as Member of J&K Legislative council.
The speakers described Chib as a leader, who is connected with grassroots and is capable of helping the common people. They stated that Congress party in Jammu region in general and Jammu District in particular will be further strengthened by nomination of Chib.
R.S. Chib while addressing the gathering thanked Sonia Gandhi and Ghulam Nabi Azad and said that he will definitely come up to the expectation of Congress leadership and will work for improving the lot of the common masses.
Chib described Ghulam Nabi Azad a dynamic Chief Minister of the state, who has taken revolutionary steps including the Roshni Act, which provides ownership rights to the poor farmers belonging to the rural areas. Chib expressed his confidence that the demands raised by the refugees of 1947, 1965, 1971 and West Pakistani refugees will also be taken care of by the Government under the leadership of Ghulam Nabi Azad.
Ch. Gharu Ram, MLA, Suchetgarh also thanked the congress leadership for nominating R.S. Chib and said that the strength of the congress in the area has been doubled. He further added that pace of development will be enhanced because of his induction as MLC.
Earlier, Chib was given rousing reception at different places which includes Prem Nagar, Miran Sahib, Simble Morh, Kullian, Kotli–Shah Dula, R.S. Pura, Purana Pind and Sidher. The prominent people, who participated in different meetings included Capt. G L Sharma, S. Amar Singh, Ch. Harbans Lal, Sarpanch Badri Nath, Ch. Bittu, Sarpanch Chajju Singh, Prof. Jai Singh, Capt. Janak Singh, Darshan Isher, Ch. Mohinder Singh, Sagar Singh Manhas, Rashpal Singh Manhas and others.
